Enjoy this day, ..if it is raining where you are, ... fill two glasses with fresh clean water, clink glasses and drink to the rain, the ocean, lakes and rivers and your body fluids. If it is a bright sunny day, take one minute to soak up the warmth and energy and imagine the possibilities this power offers to us. When the wind gives you chills, imagine, its power could keep you warm in the winter. Make this day an earth conscious day, ....changes start from the inside. Remember little things make a difference and can change the world. Use a little bit less of your toothpaste, shower gel, washing powder, water and other things. Shut down unused lights and electric devices. Yes, you make a difference because you are not alone, ...more than 6 billion people are with you. I wish you all a delightful day. Delegates from 175 countries attended the CITES conference in Doha, Qatar this month to discuss proposals to impose international trade controls on various species. However the parties with the most to lose did not attend--because they have gills--and they lost big time. The meeting of the Convention on Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora denied protection to five endangered species of shark and to the Atlantic bluefin tuna, whose stocks have declined by 61% in the last decade.

Many of the environmentalists in attendance were in shock at the results. “Once again CITES has failed to listen to the scientists. The decision not to list all of these sharks today is a conservation catastrophe for these species,” said Glenn Sant, Global Marine Programme Co-ordinator for wildlife trade monitoring network TRAFFIC. 

NGO Oceana estimates that 73 million sharks are killed each year, primarily to make sharks' fin soup, a delicacy in traditional Chinese culture that is growing in popularity. Heute gab es was über Haie mit Hannes Jaenicke. In der Mediathek des ZDF müsste es noch zu finden sein, ich habe es dort geschaut. Schön, dass die Sendung so einen Sendplatz bekommen hat.

Recently, I filmed for a german TV production in France. This was one reason why I decided to start my on business. k2op-media.eu is still under construction and there is a lot more work to do. Let's see how things develop. A trailer is also in preparation. I simply need more time, who does not...
