In February 2006, a dream come true. I visited the worldwide known dive spot Rangiroa, home of the big fish channel Tiputa Pass.

It turned out to be one of the best dive experiences that I had so far. When the current sucks you into the big lagoon with up to five knots velocity, it makes you feel like flying underwater.

The waters at Tiputa are ginclear some days and you can see a superb inventory of big pelagic animals, such as Great Hammerhead Shark, Grey Reef sharks, Manta rays.

The Diving was provided by Raie Manta Club.

For accomodation ask the people at Pension Bounty, Alain and Muriel do a very good job and their pension is beautiful and clean.
